Why PHAIDRA?

Free and open access: access to the system is available to all members of the University (both professors and students). Active use of PHAIDRA (objects storage) is possible for authorized users via username. Searching for content is free for all Internet users without the need to log in.

Possibility of permanent citation: all objects have a permanent link, which is available worldwide and can be cited or forwarded. When selecting a link, the most important information about the object is immediately received which can be viewed or downloaded.

Flexibility: as a stable base for managing, research and teaching, PHAIDRA offers a possibility of further flexible use of resources. Authorized users can independently, in any moment, block their objects visible worldwide and make them available only to a certain group of users.

Clear legal rules: PHAIDRA provides a safe legal status to the stored objects. License models are built into the system and can be easily chosen.

Reliable long-term archiving: PHAIDRA is organized as a system which enables a long-term archiving in a simple way. The system supports formats suitable for permanent storage. In this way, interoperability was achieved with other systems as well.

About the Repository

PHAIDRA stores data necessary for research, teaching and organizational work at the University. It enables the managing of data, flexible use of resources, locating and finding stored digital objects. Digital repositories transparently show the reach and scope of scientific work at the University and increase its visibility on the web.
