At the Reception desk, Library users and visitors can always get valid information on how to become a Library member or borrow a book, how to find their seat in a Reading Room, what they can bring into a Reading Room, how to find a specific Library department or an employee, and if certain manifestations, lectures or other events are ongoing, etc.

How to get your seat in the Reading Room?

According to the User Regulations, before entering a Reading Room, the user is obliged to leave their membership card and personal belongings (bags, coats etc.) at the reception in order to get their seat number in a certain Reading Room. If one needs to use their own notes and books in the Reading Room, they must inform the duty librarian. Upon exiting a Reading Room and returning the books from the Library collection, the user will get their ID card back. Also, upon returning the seat number at reception, the user will get their membership card and personal belongings returned.
