Dissertations’ Manuscripts

Unpublished dissertations’ manuscripts are used in Reading Rooms. Users shall sign a special statement confirming that they will correctly cite the dissertation. The statement shall be permanently kept in the Library.

Digital Repository

As of May 2012, the University Library has established the Digital Repository of Doctoral Dissertations of the University of Belgrade called E-theses. In addition to contemporary dissertations, a number of older dissertations is also available. The most important ones in this group are defended by Serbian scientists at foreign universities. E-form of the dissertations is used according to the license chosen by the author and the printed version of the dissertation is used in accordance with User Regulations.

Foreign Dissertations

Foreign doctoral dissertations in print are used in the same way as books. There are also doctoral dissertations in electronic form from foreign universities available via KoBSON service and dissertations from the European Universities available at DART Europe portal.
