Center for digitization
The Center for digitization was opened in 2008 and to date over 600,000 newspaper pages, manuscripts, monographs, old maps, doctoral dissertations, and many other important materials have been digitized here.
In the Center, Library materials are digitized for the needs of the University Library programs and international projects in which it participates, as well as at the request of users according to the valid price list. The priority group of users of the Center, are the students with disabilities; more information on the services is available on the page Center for students with disabilities.
The most important projects within which the Library materials have been digitized in the Center are: Europeana Libraries, Europeana Newspapers i Endangered Archives Programme of the British Library.
