Who is it for?

This Reading Room is intended for students, teachers, researchers and other individuals interested in the Folk Literature Collection of the University Library.

Use

Publications and materials which belong to the legacy of the Folk Literature Department can be used only in the Reading Room. Users are allowed to bring in some refreshments (water).

Marambo’s home

Folk Literature Department of the University Library is located in the house which belonged to Vojislav M. Jovanovic in 24  Bircaninova St. This house was built by Mata Jovanovic in 1883. Slavka Jovanovic, Vojislav Jovanovic’s sister, bequeathed the house where Vojislav Jovanovic spent his life and all of his books, manuscripts and personal belongings to the University Library.  Vojislav M. Jovanovic’s home is registered as a museum-gallery. It opened in 1988 as the Folk Literature Department.

8 AM – 3 PM Monday to Friday, closed on Saturdays
