Membership fees

Upon registration, the user pays a membership fee according to the following price list, valid for 365 days from the date of registration:

  • Students 1,500 dinars
  • University professors 2,500 dinars
  • Graduate students (master’s, doctoral candidates) 2,000.00 dinars
  • The employed 2,000 dinars
  • The unemployed and retired 1,500 dinars
  • Foreign students and researchers
  • Temporary membership 500 dinars (up to 3 days), 800 dinars (up to a month)
  • High-school graduates 800 dinars from September 1 of the current year to September 1 of the following year
  • Group membership 20,000 dinars

Fines and warnings

Fees for returning books late, per book (per day): 10 dinars

Warning fees:

  • First warning 50 dinars
  • Second warning 100 dinars
  • Third warning (before legal action) 200 dinars

Copying and Scanning

Scanning documents

  • up to 3 documents, 20 dinars per document
  • scan upon special request 50 dinars
  • cultural property of great importance 150 dinars per page

Printing

  • 10 dinars per page
  • black and white images (up to 50% of a page) 15 dinars
  • printing black and white (over 50% of a page) 20 dinars

Photographing documents

  • 50 dinars per photo
  • cultural property of great importance 150 dinars per photo

Important! Due to variable costs of purchasing credits/licences on the iThenticate service, the price list is subject to more frequent changes.

  • Text up to 25,000 words — 1,800.00 dinars (Each subsequent 25,000 words — an additional 1,200 dinars)
  • Text up to 50,000 words — 3,000.00 dinars
  • Text up to 75,000 words — 4,200.00 dinars

Interlibrary Loan

Domestic

The loan is free of charge; only postal costs are paid for printed publications.

International

Loan fee charged by the lending library + postal costs for printed publications.

  • Books: 6,000.00 dinars. If the book weighs more than 2 kg, actual postal costs are also charged.
  • Articles: 1,700.00 dinars. Articles with digital protection cannot be forwarded; they are printed at the Library and collected in person.
  • Special requests (rarities, less accessible materials, etc.): actual loan cost + postal costs.
